CITY UTILITIES AVAILABILITY FOR NON RESIDENTIAL USE -
April 4, 2018
Taliaferro County Development Authority
% Taliaferro County Commission
Crawfordville, Georgia 30631
The City of Crawfordville makes it a priority to promote business and jobs in Crawfordville and Taliaferro County. The City will do all in its power to furnish utilities to the new County Industrial Park as well as promoting the Crawfordville Industrial Site, which already has water, sewage, and limited natural gas.
At the present time, the City operates two wells and a 100,000 gallons per day sewage plant. The City currently processes approximately 33,000 gallons of residential sewage per day. This leaves 33,000 gallons per day for additional growth, with 33,000 gallons per day available as a buffer when normal usage is exceeded or emergency situations exist. These numbers apply to residential sewage only, and all other types of sewage must be evaluated by the EPD.
